16th July 2021 is the first day of the electoral campaign for the Election of Bokor Municipal Council of Kampot Province. Two of the four political parties conducted the campaign activities as follows:
- Cambodian People's Party: There are 70 vehicles and 30 motorbikes with a total of 200 participants
- Cambodian Nationality Party: There are 2 vehicles and 5 motorbikes with a total of 20 participants.
“The participants in the electoral campaign properly implemented and complied with the Covid-19 control measures in accordance with the guideline of the Ministry of Health,” said Dr. Te Chinnarith, Chief of Kampot Provincial Election Commission, monitoring today’s campaign activities. He added that the electoral campaign was conducted in a smooth, well-organized and successful manner as determined by the procedures.
It is noted that the electoral campaign lasts 8 days from 16th to 23rd July 2021 from 6:00 a.m to 10:00 p.m. All campaign activities shall end 24 hours prior to the election day. For marches or rallies organized by groups of pedestrians or vehicles of all kinds in the constituency shall be conducted twice during the electoral campaign.
